Savannah Beach Inn is located in the Fort Screven National Historic District and once housed an officer and his family. The inn is situated on a bluff that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. It features a huge wrap-around porch, ornate tin ceilings, five fireplaces, and a uniquely designed period kitchen that is a favorite gathering place for guests. The inn offers continental plus breakfast, that can be served in bed on request, and is served every morning and later on in the day, a wine reception is offered. There are also places for guests to mingle including a common library, sitting room, and some gardens to stroll through to get some fresh air. Enjoy the quiet and peaceful surroundings of the ocean. Rooms have sitting areas where guests can relax after a day of touring. Some rooms have beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean from their windows while others have fireplaces to cozy up to. Driving Information

21 Officer's Road, Tybee Island, GA - From Savannah International Airport: Coming from I-95, exit onto the 116 towards Savannah. Exit 116 at Martin Luther King Blvd. and turn left. Turn right on Bay Street and proceed across Savannah to General McIntosh Blvd. (past the Marriot on the left). Turn left on President Street. President Street flows into the Island Expressway and then take US 80 to Tybee Island. Once on the island, look for the first stop light and turn left onto Campbell. Turn right onto Van Horn at the stop sign. Turn left onto Cedarwood at the next stop sign. The inn is the sixth house on the right. Park directly behind the house or in the side parking lot. Please do not park on the opposite side of the street.
